Requires (3) AA batteries (included). The ON/DEMO/LIGHT switch is located on the battery case. Move the switch to the “ON” position to place the set in the sound-activated mode. Clap your hands or make a loud noise to activate the LED lights and a full version of the music. Switch to the “DEMO” position to activate the “Try-Me” feature and then press the “Try-Me” button located on the battery box to see and hear a short demonstration of the light string. Place the switch into the “LIGHT” position to activate the timer feature; which will automatically turn on for 6 hours and will shut off for 18 hours.
