The Dyson DC23 Turbinehead Animal canister vacuum is designed for homes with pets. Like all Dyson full size vacuums, the DC23 TH is certified Asthma and Allergy friendly by the Asthma Society of Canada. It features level 3 Root Cyclone technology engineered to capture microscopic dust, or particles down to 0.5 microns, including pollen, mold and bacteria. With a washable pre-motor filter and permanent HEPA post motor filter, the DC23 expels cleaner air into the room as you vacuum and means there are no replacement bags or filters to buy….so no extra costs. Other machines are still designed to need replacement bags, belts and filters. Manufacturing, supplying and disposing of these items increases waste and impacts on the environment. Dyson's DC23 Turbinehead technology leverages an air-driven brush bar that spins up to 90 times per second and is ideal for cleaning medium to short pile carpets. The Turbinehead can be turned off for hard floors and delicate carpets. Non-marking wheels are designed to protect hard floors and light colored carpets. The DC23 also comes with additional tools that are ideal for cleaning into awkward spaces as well as pet hair and dander. The tangle free turbine tool with counter-rotating heads, removes hair and dirt from upholstery and stairs while the articulating hard floor tool maneuvers easily and cleans under and between narrow gaps. The onboard tools include a stiff bristle brush, crevice and stair tool and store directly on the machine for quick access. The DC23 is also engineered to sit on stairs to make cleaning up top even easier.
