It adheres to non-porous surfaces such as hardboard; glass or gloss paint; and topcoated in 1 hour. For interior or exterior use on new or previously painted surfaces; Cover Stain will seal porous surfaces like new wood & sheetrock or even redwood & cedar bleed. It can be tinted; and used under most topcoats; oil or latex surfaces.
